About Me
Creative Organizing, LLC evolved in response to my intuitive nature about managing living spaces and life’s multiple demands. Recognizing my innate tendencies to apply organizational strategies in daily life and work, my friends encouraged me to start my own business. In addition, I found that my professional background in counseling supported my ability to understand individual personalities and create organizational systems to reflect those personalities and the environment in which they live.
I have a Masters of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter College, NYC. Prior to becoming a Professional Organizer I worked in mental health and substance abuse programs, facilitating through movement and verbal groups, client’s emotional understanding of themselves. My goals were to increase self awareness, promote healthier choices and improve level of daily functioning. Not far from my goals as a Professional Organizer. I later taught expressive dance to elementary school age children with the simple goal of providing a fun way to build on their self esteem.
I value and respect the personal relationship that develops between clients and myself. Therefore, I approach my work not only expecting to teach clients a new skill or way, but to learn from them as well.
I currently live in Maplewood, NJ with my husband and son.
